H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh
Senior Advisor, Ministry of Presidential Affairs, UAE

H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh has been active in Government service and interpreter for the President of the United Arab Emirates since 1968. Currently in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs as Cultural Advisor and continuing his role with HH President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, he previously served in the same capacity the founder of the UAE, HH Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, from 1968 until 2004.

Born in Jerusalem and educated in Jerusalem and the United Kingdom before settling in Abu Dhabi, Zaki Nusseibeh began his career as a journalist in 1967 and worked for the newly established Government of Abu Dhabi Civil Service Department. He then became Director of Information in the Abu Dhabi and, after 1971, the UAE Ministry of Information and Tourism. Mr. Riad T. Al Sadik

Mr. Riad Tawfiq Al Sadik is a distinguished name in the Middle Eastern construction industry. Born in Palestine, his initial years were spent in Lebanon. After graduating from AUB, he trained in the UK and worked for three years, the last year of which he was Head of Engineering for the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Sadik is a major shareholder of HLG Contracting LLC and was the Chairman of this company. He is the Chairman of the RTS Group which comprises of Construction Machinery Center, Dar Al Rokham, HSSG Foundation Contracting LLC, SPECON LLC, Maxsteel Industry LLC, Kazax Minerals Inc. Mr. Sadik also owns 2 five-star hotels namely Grand Millennium Dubai and Dubai Canal Grand Millennium, Rosegrade Ltd. (a UK Services Co.), The Gulf-American Co. Inc.

Mr. Sadik is well known for his philanthropic activities, and he holds a wider interest in humanities. He is the winner of the Takreem Life Achievement Award in 2015 and the Life Achievement Award for 2016 from the College of Engineering & Architecture of AUB. Mr. Riad Sadik also holds membership of various Boards of Trustees including the American University of Sharjah, Birzeit University Palestine, Bethlehem Development Board, and the Institute for Palestine Studies. He is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Pearl Initiative.

Mr. Guillaume Leyte

Born in 1962, Guillaume Leyte defended his doctoral thesis in 1993 at the University of Paris II of which he is currently the President. Associate of the Law Faculties (History of Law and Institutions) in 1994, a history professor of law, and his research focuses on comparative law and institutions history, comparative constitutional history and the history of legal thought and policy. 

He taught at the universities of Strasbourg, Amiens and Paris Descartes before being appointed in 2002 at the University Paris II. He leads since 2005 the Institute of History of Law and currently chairs the Department of Roman law and legal history since 2009. Read More...

Professor Dr. Nada Mourtada-Sabbah is the Secretary-General of the University Leadership Council (ULC), which bring together the leading institutions of higher learning in the UAE, under the Honorary Chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.

Professor Mourtada was named as the founding Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs of the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in 2009. A freshly minted Ph.D. in 1997, she was one of the dozen pioneer faculty members who joined AUS when it first opened its doors that year. Professor Mourtada-Sabbah was subsequently elected President of the AUS Faculty Senate, and served as the founding Chair of the Department of International Studies for three years, successfully overseeing its accreditation.
